I love my car. And I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it handles in the snow. Speaking of snow and driving, why are studded tires so much more popular in Washington than Wisconsin?



A GM factory closed in a nearby town. One worker blamed consumers for buying foreign cars.

Glass said he doesn't like to cast about for blame, but believes the government has helped foreign competitors to the U.S. automakers, and that American consumers have turned their backs on the domestic manufacturers.

Um. Maybe American car manufactures need to modernize and get with the program.


Prop 8 is STILL pissing me off. Supporters of Prop 8 need to realize that they are bigots, admit it, and then either stop trying to limit the rights of other human beings or go die in a fire.


I still haven't done much work on my senior paper, but I'm pretty settled on a topic: sound symbolism.


I am glad we were able to help a friend out, but I am glad that in a week or so the apartment will be back to me, Brent, and Bellakitty.


Seriously. I live on Hoth. I demand either a tauntaun or a snowspeeder.
